We are delighted to welcome Rutter Green Estate Agency to the Wigan Business Awards campaign as first time sponsors in 2026.

The independent, family-run estate agency has been building its presence in Wigan for over a decade.

Today, the business has a growing local team supporting residential and commercial property across the borough.

Directors Diane Wilde and Jason Foley-Doherty are building on their support and strengthening even more Rutter Green’s place within the wider Wigan business community.

For us, this partnership has felt values-led from the beginning. So, sponsoring the Community Impact Award feels like a natural fit.

Rutter Green Estate Agents understands the importance of relationships.

As a growing and thriving business, building genuine connections is something both Diane and Jason are passionate about, as this not only builds on the organisation solid foundation, but it ultimately will create a legacy for the community.

They actively get involved, supporting others and embrace in becoming part of the community around them. Check out their news section to see how involved they are.

The Community Impact Award celebrates businesses that take that same approach.

Each year, we see Wigan businesses give their time, skills, money and resources to support local people and organisations, and Rutter Green’s contribution often reaches far beyond their day-to-day work.

Rutter Green will now help us recognise and celebrate that impact throughout the 2026 campaign.

Diane Wilde said:

“We’re really pleased to join the Wigan Business Awards for the first time. As well as building on our success across the borough of Wigan, we are putting Wigan on the map throughout England and Wales due to our inhouse auction service, and joining a campaign that celebrates local businesses and community impact is an excellent fit for us and our wider community will reap the benefits as well.”

Jason Foley-Doherty added:

“Relationships play a huge part in how we work. We want to continue building and growing Rutter Green whilst building deeper and meaningful connections across Wigan. We also want to support the people and organisations making a difference here. We’re really looking forward to getting involved.”

Wigan Business Awards organiser Nichola Howard said:

“This relationship has felt values-led from the beginning. Diane and Jason have a real sense of what they want Rutter Green to become. They also understand that you earn your place in a business community by getting involved and supporting others. I’m really pleased to welcome them into the WBA campaign.”

Rutter Green joins a growing group of businesses supporting the Wigan Business Awards in 2026.

We’re looking forward to working with Diane, Jason and the wider team throughout the campaign.

We also can’t wait to introduce them to this year’s Community Impact finalists.

We now have limited sponsorship opportunities remaining for the Wigan Business Awards.
