Wigan Business Awards are super proud to welcome back GHE Electrical, Fire and Security as an official sponsor of the 2025 campaign.
Last year, the team supported the event as our bag sponsor.
This year, they’ve gone even further, sponsoring the Community Impact category and continuing to lead by example.
For GHE, this is all about recognition and shared values.
They’re committed to showing how businesses can make a difference when they put people first.
Supporting Those Who Support Others
The Community Impact Award celebrates businesses that go above and beyond.
It recognises those improving lives, supporting charities, and making an impact across the local area.
For Stuart Howard and the team at GHE, it was the perfect category to champion.
“We’re proud to sponsor the Community Impact award this year,” said Stuart Howard, Director at GHE.
“Giving back is part of who we are. These awards shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes doing real work behind the scenes.”
GHE’s support shows what’s possible when local businesses use their voice and their resources, for good.
A Business That Leads With Heart
GHE is more than a sponsor this year. They’re also behind this year’s official charity campaign, In Memory of Baby G, supporting Three Wishes Charity.
The campaign honours baby Graham Robert Hurst, raising funds for lifesaving equipment for Wigan Infirmary’s Neo-Natal Unit.
It’s a deeply personal cause, led by GHE Director Graham Hurst and his wife Rebecca.
The entire team has rallied behind it with passion and compassion.
Nichola Howard, Managing Director of Launch NW and organiser of the Wigan Business Awards, shared:
“GHE walks the walk. Their values are rooted in community, and they lead from the front, whether that’s through business or giving back.
We’re thrilled to see them return this year as sponsors, but also as champions of people-powered progress.”
Celebrating Businesses That Care
The Wigan Business Awards take place on Friday 7th November at The Edge Arena.
It’s a night to celebrate everything that makes our towns brilliant, especially those who give back.
