Wigan Business Awards winner Metro Rod returns as a sponsor, and we’re excited to welcome them back.
Last year, Metro Rod proudly sponsored the Customer Service Excellence category. However, this year, they felt a different connection.
As a family-run business, the Family Business of the Year category truly resonated with them.
Because of this, they made the decision to sponsor a category that better reflects their journey and values.
Celebrating past Success
Metro Rod also celebrated a fantastic achievement in 2024 by winning the Trade Category award up against stiff competition.
Nevertheless, they have chosen not to enter this year. Instead, they will focus on supporting the awards from behind the scenes.
Moreover, Jo Yates, Director of Metro Rod, will once again join our Judging Panel after thoroughly enjoying her experience last year.

Reflecting on her journey, Jo said:
