Feel free to enter or nominate your chosen business in as many relevant categories as you’d like, but note each submission requires its own entry application. 

Please be aware that to be eligible to enter, businesses must be located, or have its registered office, within the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan.

To enter the awards simply fill out the entry form when it goes live for 2025. 

No. The Wigan Business Awards are free to enter. However, should you be shortlisted as a finalist, or just want to come along to the ceremony, you will need to purchase tickets.

Finalists must purchase tickets for the awards ceremony.

Once the finalists are announced, you’ll receive priority notification to book your tickets or tables before they become available to the public.

Keep an eye out for an email containing a booking link, and we’ll also send a reminder closer to the deadline.

The deadline for award entries is to be confirmed for 2025!

Finalists will receive email notifications simultaneously with the announcement on our social media channels. Entrants will be informed of the schedule closer to the announcement date.

 The exact date for our 2025 interviews will be confirmed later.

Tickets for our 2025 ceremony are priced at £80 per person. This includes a welcome drink, a 2-course dinner with tea/coffee, dessert, entertainment during and after the ceremony, and a late-night after-party.

Dress code is black tie.

Join us for a night celebrating Wigan’s best in business, packed with awards, entertainment, and great company. Here’s what to expect:

  • 6:00 pm – Welcome Drinks: Start the evening mingling with guests over a drink.
  • 6:45 pm – Take Your Seats: Get ready for an unforgettable night!
  • 7:00 pm – Guest Performance: Kicking off the evening with energy.
  • 7:15 pm – Official Welcome: Opening remarks to set the stage.
  • 7:20 pm – Dinner Service accompanied by live music.
  • 9:15 pm – Awards Ceremony: The celebration begins as we honour Wigan’s standout businesses.
  • 11:00 pm – After Party with live music!
  • 1:00 am – Carriages: We bid you goodnight—until next year!
